More than two years of anticipation for Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is enough to make an entire community wait for it, even if it didn't appear as it should have in its last presentation during yesterday's episode of State of Play. As many thought it was a good compensation for fans of the DC universe, instead of a new game in the Batman Arkham series.
The gameplay didn't live up to expectations, but that didn't stop DC fans from sitting around idly by to catch up on as many details as possible and get a better feel for the game. Luckily, someone seems to have figured something out: the Riddler is back.

This was spotted on Twitter by someone named NicholasJLevi, and indeed, during the gameplay demo, a green circle can be seen on the ground with a Riddler question mark in the middle of it. The plate glows green on the display, but in a somewhat dimmed way, which makes it seem like the plate has a story behind it that we'll discover as we play. While it doesn't look like the Riddler Cup from the Arkham games, it's clearly more about the character and seems to indicate that he's returning in some way.
Interestingly, The Riddler wasn't mentioned in yesterday's gameplay trailer or any trailer, even when Rocksteady introduced the Suicide Squad sidekicks where we saw The Penguin. It seems like the developer is being conservative and doesn't want to reveal him at the moment, and it's also likely that only his puzzles exist without seeing him in person, and we'll see him in future additional content or something like that.
All of this is just speculation, we will learn the same truth on May 26, 2023 on the PS5 and Xbox Series X/S platform alongside PC. Tell us your expectations about the game in the comments section below, and does it deserve all this criticism?
