Take Two's Private Division has signed a deal today to publish a new horror game from Bloober Team.

The undisclosed new title will be a completely new horror game that is not part of any of the studio's other previous projects. According to the announcement, the game is still in the early stages of development and will not be released before 2025.

It is worth mentioning that the independent studio Bloober Team has extensive experience in developing horror games, as it has provided us with an exceptional experience through the game The Medium and the famous horror game series Layers of Fear, while now it is hiring Konami to work on the remake of Silent Hill 2.

And he said Peter Papino Bloober Team CEO commenting on this new collaboration:

Our next project is an exciting new survival horror game that will help us become a leader in the horror industry in general.

I appreciate this collaboration with Private Division. Their experience is extensive and their staff is very friendly. We don't recognize them in a typical “editor-developer” relationship; they are like a friend who shows us support or keeps us in line when we need it most.

It's worth noting that the studio is currently working on a remake of Silent Hill 2, which was officially announced last October. The developer has stated that it will seek to reintroduce the horror game while preserving its own identity and enriching its world to make it more terrifying and lively than before.

Certainly, the studio's focus at the moment is on the remake of the Silent Hill 2 game, and this explains the presence of the new title in the early stages of development, since the team will not move to work on it until after the release of the current project, which should arrive next year.
