Once again, the gaming community is back with bounty hunters demanding that PlayStation remove online multiplayer achievements from some games. These claims came after players noticed that getting the platinum trophy in some online games has become harder with new games, and the reason is that there are some online trophies and getting them requires a lot of effort.

A bounty hunter has taken to the Reddit community to challenge PlayStation and Sony to ban online achievements from linear games. The reason is that these achievements are very difficult to obtain and greatly hinder the player's progress towards platinum in some games.

Players are required to include online achievements in games that involve or rely on multiplayer. For example, games like Battlefield and Call of Duty must add multiplayer achievements. On the other hand, in linear games, online achievements should be easy to obtain because they are ultimately linear games that rely on storytelling and exploration.

As a bounty hunter who loves collecting trophies, I’m always chasing the “platinum” jackpot in games, and I always face a lot of difficulties due to online achievements. When I was collecting trophies in Need For Speed Unbound, I managed to unlock all the story achievements. But what really stopped me from getting the Platinum Award was the hard achievements required to play online.

One of the achievements in the game requires you to play a race with 7 other players, this means that 7 players must accept your invite to join the race and complete it completely with you to unlock the achievement. Which I failed to do after about 100 attempts. All the players I invited were rejected and I was unable to collect 7 players through 7 invites. Instead, I only collected a maximum of 5 players. This in-game online achievement and others prevented me from unlocking the platinum and so I deleted the game.

I don't know what you, our followers, think, but I'm waiting for your participation below. Do you suffer from the same problem?
