PS Plus Premium subscribers are confused by Sony's direction.

When Sony introduced the PS Plus Premium package, which is the highest-priced package among the three new packages of the monthly service, it was distinguished by the library of classic games from previous PlayStation titles that were released on the PlayStation 1, Vita and PSP platforms. But it seems that the matter will not work that way, and that is what has left subscribers of the most expensive package confused and confused about the purpose of their participation in it.

This month, subscribers to the package will receive titles from the Ratchet & Clank series, which will be available from the middle of the month, but the games will only be available via the cloud, as all the games are dedicated to the Playstation 3.

However, it seems that Sony may not be bringing many of its old classic titles to the PS Plus Premium package, as outlined in the package terms when it was announced. Recently, subscribers have witnessed a clear mix-up in the release of titles varying between the Premium package and the Extra package, where subscribers to the latter got the enhanced Kingdom Hearts game, although it is a classic game, but it is enhanced. However, previous Premium package subscribers also got the enhanced Yakuza 3 game, among the classic titles, while it was not provided to Extra package subscribers.

This isn't the first time Sony has done this, as last month we saw the addition of GTA Vice City Definitive Edition to the Extra pack, although it is a classic game but was not available to PS Plus Premium subscribers.

The confusion here is clear, as Sony isn't providing the content that subscribers to the higher plan were looking for, and is instead getting select titles that vary with the Extra package. While the focus is on bringing original classic PlayStation titles to the service while the fate of the enhanced versions is determined, they will be treated as either classic games or modern games.

In the meantime, we believe from experience that the best package to subscribe to, especially in the Middle East, is the mid-range PS Plus Extra package, until we see clear exclusive content that might tempt us to upgrade to the Premium Premium package.

Which of the new PlayStation Plus packages are you currently subscribed to? Are you happy with the content you receive?
