Starfield is Bethesda's biggest project to date. The game got a new release date today, being delayed from the first half of 2023 and will now arrive at a later date on September 6.

In a new video, game director Todd Howard said that Bethesda and Microsoft will be streaming a livestream for Starfield on June 11 to shed light on the game's details. In June, Howard says, "we're going to take you into the studio and give you an in-depth look at Starfield, live." It sounds like there's a lot the studio will be showing us during the upcoming period.

Starfield was originally scheduled to release on November 11, 2022, and that date would have commemorated The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, which released in 2011 on the same day and month.

Starfield is set in space, where players take on the role of the last remaining group of explorers. Described by game director Todd Howard as “Skyrim in space,” the RPG will be playable in both first- and third-person perspectives, but primarily from a first-person perspective.

Starfield will launch exclusively on Xbox Series X/S and PC, and will be available on day one on Xbox Game Pass. After the game’s Starfield Direct episode is revealed, let us know your expectations for what we’ll see in the comments section below.
