All gamers are sure that Control 2 is in development somewhere. Today, Remedy studio ends the controversy and confusion with the presence of a new part of its game in 2019 in cooperation with 505 Games studio.

With the two developers revealing Control 2, we learned that this project has been codenamed Heron and the game is set to release on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. The game will be built on Remedy's Northlight engine.

Developer Remedy will publish the game on the PC platform, while 505 Games will publish it on the respective home platforms. The project is currently in the development phase.

Developer Remedy previously, specifically in the month of June last year, announced its cooperation with 505 Games, which is accompanied by strict conditions or, let's say, a professional and luxury level, because it is a game with a larger budget than the previous part. The CEO of the studio stated that he was proud to officially announce the second installment of his ambitious title, previously known by its codename Heron.

I'm now proud to confirm that our biggest budget game, Control, also known by its codename Heron, is Control 2, an integral part of the award-winning 2019 game Control.

Director Mikael Kasurinen expressed his gratitude for this game. The game took his team to an unknown world and completely new to them in every aspect, but at the same time they wanted to offer something new and completely different from the usual studio. Kasurinen also thanked all the players who supported the game and contributed to its success.

Kasurinin added that with the new play, he will take another leap “into the unknown.” The journey of the second part, in his words, is beyond expectations, and he enthusiastically states that “this is the most exciting project I have ever worked on.”

It must be a great investment. Tell us your expectations about the project, dear reader.
