Xbox and Nintendo have agreed to bring Call of Duty and other games to Nintendo's platform. While the organizations responsible for reviewing the deal are still blocking the acquisition of Activision Blizzard, sources and analysts indicate that the deal could proceed smoothly once the controversy subsides.

Microsoft Vice President Brad Smith announced on his Twitter account that Microsoft and Nintendo have negotiated and reached an agreement to bring Call of Duty to the Switch platform on the same day as Xbox. The agreement will last for at least 10 years, all platforms will see the same content as the Switch and there will be no differences or deficiencies between the versions of the two platforms.

Smith's comment indicates that this won't be the only game Microsoft will be involved with, as he tweeted and said:

We have now signed a binding 10-year agreement to bring Xbox games to Nintendo gamers.

Your use of the word “Xbox games” indicates that there will be other titles in the future. And thatWhile no other specific titles were mentioned, Microsoft has previously said that it does not plan to make its games fully exclusive, but rather the opposite. Call of Duty has already been promised to all PlayStation owners in conjunction with Sony's strong reaction to Microsoft's acquisition of Activision Blizzard. This deal is a very important step in reassuring all regulatory bodies and even the main competitor in the deal, Sony Corporation.
