Suicide Squad title gets a lot of flak after yesterday's show!

During Sony's State of Play presentation yesterday, the focus was on Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, and many players seemed unimpressed with the game's gameplay. Unfortunately, many people wished they hadn't seen the gameplay in the first place.
There was a lot of excitement about the game’s narrative and story, especially when we saw the return of “Kevin Conroy” as Batman, which is his last role before his death. However, after actually seeing the gameplay demo, many viewers couldn’t contain their voices and immediately started making fierce comparisons between Suicide Squad and Marvel’s Avengers.
The overall style and gameplay of Suicide Squad is very similar to Marvel's Avengers, and the live-action characteristics left many players worried that the DC game would suffer the same fate.
Marvel's Avengers was released in late 2020 and received a lot of criticism from everyone and in the last two years the game gained new characters and dedicated missions as post-launch content, but most of the content was nothing new added.
I'm still mad about that Suicide Squad game. They could have just made a fun co-op game with Arkham mechanics, but instead they decided to make an Avengers rip-off with Anthem's flying/hovering mechanics.

I'm not trying to defend Marvel's Avengers or anything, but I find it funny that everyone and their mother was screaming that Suicide Squad was going to be what "The Avengers should have been" and now look Lmaooo

Developer Crystal Dynamics recently announced that no new content will be released and the title will not be released this year. For many Marvel fans, this was disappointing to see, and most DC fans would have thought Suicide Squad would meet the same fate, but ultimately we hope the game avoids that. You can see some of the opinions in the tweets above.
