Regarding the title Fable, we haven't heard much since it was revealed at the 2020 show and, unfortunately, we haven't had any official and concrete information about this robot. All we know about the game are just rumors and statements from some developers scattered here and there, and that's what happened today, but from a very reliable source.
The upcoming Fable game has now reached playable status, according to one of the game's producers, who shared a new milestone on his LinkedIn page. That producer is Vijay Gill, who works at the PlayGround Games studio.
Gil is responsible for stabilizing the project and overseeing gameplay design, art design, visual effects engineering, and more.
Just because Fable has reached a point where it's playable doesn't guarantee it'll be here any time soon, but it's a clear and honest indication that the game isn't on hold, quite the opposite. The studio is making good progress in the development process, though unfortunately the game was disappointingly absent from the recent Xbox and Bethesda conference, as the conference revealed the release dates for upcoming first-party games like Redfall and others.
The latest installment released so far is Fable Anniversary, which was released on Xbox 360 and PC, while another project in the series met the fate of cancellation during 2016, which studio Lionhead was working on, which also died like its project.
The game is expected to be one of the exclusive titles on the Xbox platform, and after this exciting information, we hope to see more details about the game soon.
