As 2023 approaches, no new games have been added to the Xbox Game Pass service, but that's not true because there's one game that was suddenly added to the service without any announcement or warning.

If you haven't signed in to Game Pass yet, Stranded Deep has been added to the library. Developed and published by independent developer Beam Team Games, the game is a survival game that will be released in 2022 after 7 years of early access that began in 2015.

The game has achieved great and surprising success, with millions of players having played the game for long periods of time. Although the game has been released on several platforms, the most popular version has been on Steam, mainly because Steam is the home of survival games and because this is where it gained early access.

In addition to releasing the game Stranded Deep in its full version through the Xbox Game Pass service, it was also released through the PlayStation Plus service on PlayStation devices.

Stranded Deep Description

After a mysterious plane crash, you are stranded in the vast expanse of the Pacific Ocean. Alone, with no way to call for help, you must do what you can to survive. Explore underwater and on land as you scavenge for supplies to craft tools and weapons and protect yourself, you will need to survive. Be careful: hunger, thirst and exposure conspire against you as you brave the treacherous elements and dangerous creatures of the Pacific Ocean. Live long enough, stay alive!

We don't yet know how long Stranded Deep will be available through Microsoft's monthly service. But what we do know is that it's available on all models, be it cloud, Xbox or PC. As long as it's available on Xbox Game Pass, subscribers can buy it for 20% off on the Microsoft Store.

Don't forget that you can subscribe to Xbox Game Pass and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate for $10 and $15 per month respectively on Xbox One, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X, and PC.
