Xbox officially revealed today the arrival of its PC Game Pass subscription service in 40 new countries, providing more flexibility for larger countries, rather than using these countries for different regions like the Americas and others. The service has 40 countries, including Egypt, Algeria, Bahrain, some Gulf countries, and some countries we haven't seen before. This period will be a test, or "preview," in the truest sense of the word, of the full service.

Speaking of games, Spencer specifically mentioned Redfall and Starfield. These games, he says, are "really important games" for the service's growth. Spencer believes that releasing what he considers to be big AAA games like this will help create more excitement and growth for Game Pass not only at launch but also in the future. With overall revenue declining due to the service at the same time, service expansion remains a key consideration in the industry.
