Reviews for the adventure game Tchia have begun to emerge alongside preparations for joining the PS Plus game library today, Tuesday.

The action-adventure game managed to gain attention after joint marketing with PlayStation, as it was first reviewed through the State of Play event, and then several videos were shared through PlayStation accounts on social media platforms.

The game is developed by the independent studio Awaceb, as it is scheduled to be released for the first time and from day one exclusively in the PS Plus Extra and PS Plus Premium game library.

As of this writing, the PlayStation 5 version has a 79/100 rating on Metacritic, while the PC version has a 78. For the PlayStation 4 version, there is only one review available so far. Since the system requires four total reviews to display a cumulative review score, the only published review gave the game an 80/100.

Description of the new PS Plus game Tchia

Join Tchia on her tropical open-world adventure as she sets out to rescue her father from the cruel tyrant Mephora, ruler of the archipelago. Climb, glide, swim, and sail your boat through beautiful islands as you explore the physics-based game world. Face off against Mephora's tapestry soldiers in open-ended battles. Control any animal or thing, and you can also meet and make new friends.

Tchia's special abilities allow you to control any animal or object you encounter. With over 30 animals and hundreds of other items to choose from, you can fly like a bird, explore the ocean like a fish, or search for treasure like a dog! Use your unique abilities to explore, solve puzzles, and uncover secrets.

Tchia is set to officially launch today, Tuesday, March 21, for PlayStation and PC. The game will also be available for free to PS Plus Extra and PS Plus Premium subscribers. It will also be available for purchase separately for non-subscribers.
