Since its release last February, Hogwarts Legacy has maintained its position as one of the biggest game launches in recent memory. The game has sold over 12 million copies since its release, achieving revenues exceeding $850 million, and continues to break more records.

Avalanche Software announced via the official Hogwarts Legacy account on the Hogwarts Legacy website Twitterthat the game witnessed great interaction and was played for more than 406 million hours by players all over the world.

Some other statistics were also revealed, such as players defeating over 2.25 billion Dark wizards in the game. Over 405 million potions have been made, and over 474 million magical plants have been grown.

Hogwarts Legacy is currently available for PS5, Xbox Series, and PC owners. It's also expected to be available for PS4 and Xbox One on May 5th, and will finally arrive on the Nintendo Switch platform on July 25th.

It's worth noting that the company's director had hinted on more than one occasion about the company's intention to continue working on the second part of the game. It was stated that they didn't expect such a large turnout for the game, and now it's the best wizarding game set in the Harry Potter world of all time.
