The highly anticipated first-person fantasy game The Invincible is one of the ambitious titles that Polish development studio Starward Industries and publisher 11 Bit Studios are working on.

The events of The Invincible take place on a mysterious planet called Regis 3. Quiet and almost devoid of life, humanity rushes to explore it because of the natural phenomena that occur there.

As part of IGN's annual IGN Fan Fest 2023 event, the game's developer has released a new trailer for the game, showcasing more of the mystery, secrets, supernatural phenomena, and terrifying threats you'll face on your epic adventures on Planet Regis 3, as you can see above.

When one of the reconnaissance teams heading to that planet disappears, you'll have to discover what happened to your missing crewmates and embark on a thrilling philosophical adventure. As astrobiologist Yasna, you'll delve into a profound mystery that could lead to the discovery of a serious threat to humanity.

The game is known to be nearly linear. You'll also have multiple choices, paths, and endings to the story. There's a long road ahead to explore the planet's mysterious and terrifying secrets, which will change the fate of you and your crew.

The development team previously confirmed, through their personal blog, that the story will be the center of attention in their game. The developer desperately wants to transport players to a different world. With engaging gameplay, it also relies heavily on dialogue, and survival elements are sparse.

The Invincible will be released in 2023 for PC and Xbox Series X|S and PS5 home consoles. There is no exact release date after being delayed several times.
