Final Fantasy 16 is one of the biggest games of 2023, exclusively on PS5. It's no surprise that a game like Final Fantasy 16 gets so much hype, and as we officially approach its release in June, Square Enix is eager to not disappoint us in any way.
At the recent PAX East event, the developer and publisher announced their game with a new demo that not only shows us how the developer takes care of the details of the title on all fronts, but also shows us what's new in terms of gameplay, combat and more to come and it's starting to spread like wildfire this morning on social media sites and in the Final Fantasy fan community everywhere.
As part of the grand marketing plan, producer Naoki Yoshida has revealed specific details about the game's execution modes, especially as new-gen hardware respects different visual gameplay styles and who prefers precision over frame rate or vice versa.
When playing with Quality Mode enabled, you can play Final Fantasy 16 at 4K and 30fps. As for Performance Mode, you can run the game at 1440p resolution and 60 frames per second. With our high expectations for these screen resolutions with both modes, I think at the same time this is a good trend and one we haven't seen extensively in all PS5 exclusives, especially with the start of 2K resolution support, which indicates that it doesn't sacrifice great precision and balances things out for fans of fast performance.
