Fable's narrative director is excited to show off "all the cool stuff" she's worked on

Fable hasn't had much news since its announcement in June 2020. There have been plenty of reports of some issues with the game's current engine, though rumors of it being "unplayable" are apparently false.
Narrative director Anna Megill recently tweeted about how excited she is and how she can’t wait to show us “all the cool stuff we’ve created.” Megill is known for her work on Control and Dishonored: Death of the Outsider.

This tweet is nothing more than the Narrative Director's second year celebration at Playground Games, where she has been "busy" since joining, so she doesn't think this hints at a future reveal, and she made it clear that there is no "hidden hint" in this tweet because all she says is that she "worked there for two years and I'm still happy. That's it."

Fable is currently in development for Xbox Series X/S and PC. Microsoft hasn't revealed any release dates or even if we'll see it this year, so we'll be waiting for more details. Project Fable isn't the only thing Playground is working on, though; it's currently busy with the upcoming Forza Horizon 5 expansion.
