It seems that there is something that the team at Insomniac Games is preparing that could be revealed this year or maybe next, as the Venom actor in Spider-Man 2 has hinted at his collaboration with the Peter Parker actor to work on a new project.

Through a tweet on the account of Tony Todd, actor of the character Venom in Spider-Man 2, a new project was suggested in cooperation between him and Yuri Lowenthal, actor of the character Peter Parker, where he stated:

“Happy birthday Yuri, two projects with you have been completed and are still ongoing.”

This tweet has caused the community to develop many theories for a compelling reason, which is that the character Venom only appeared in one part, which is the final part. So, what does the word “two projects were completed” mean?

Perhaps the actor meant that he had finished working on an upcoming additional DLC expansion for the game starring Venom and Peter, or perhaps he was also referring to the separate, standalone Venom game project whose existence was leaked as a plan in Insomniac Games team documents that leaked months ago.

A few days ago, Spider-Man 2 developer Insomniac Games announced a new update available for the game now, introducing 8 new suits, the details of which are below.

A new update for Spider-Man 2 adds new suits

The Insomniac Games team revealed through their account on

  • Miles Morales' Metro Suite suit was designed by famed TV host Colm Dillane. The suit's design is modern with minimal side bulges inspired by some of the designer's most famous works.
  • KidSuper's Ginga Suite costume for the character Miles Morales. What sets it apart are the bright colors, green, black and purple. Anyone who has played the game knows what these costumes refer to or mean, especially since they are sportswear inspired by the Brazilian flag.
  • KidSuper's Fluro Suite Peter Parker costume, similar to one of the character's costumes, but with yellow wavy stripes mixed with the color of the original black costume, inspired by the element of "speed".
  • KidSuper's Motorchic Suit, also featuring red and black stripes, is said to have been designed out of love for design and art and combines three special feelings for the designer.
  • Last Stand Suite costume for Peter Parker. This costume was designed by members of the same team and has only two colors that refer to the character.
  • The most requested Into The Spider Verse Suite costume for Peter Parker and from the name we can guess where it was inspired from.
  • Animated Suite Costume for the character Miles Morales, which is the main character's costume but in graphic form.
  • The Uptown Pride Suite costume for Miles Morales, covered in yellow and black in a way that matches the black spider's look, was designed by the same team.
