The appearance of the “PS Plus Exclusive” label on some games confuses players

The “PS Plus Exclusive” sign has started appearing on some games on the PlayStation Store, and so far we don’t know what it means. However, some players have started to develop hypotheses and theories, some of which may be quite convincing.
One of the subscribers of the PlayStation Plus Extra service managed to monitor that the game Outer Wilds obtained this mark, but in fact it is not one of the games of the service.
In fact, when browsing the PlayStation Store, you'll notice that games that have been added to PlayStation Plus service packages appear below them with the words "Included in the Game Catalogue, games from your PlayStation Plus subscription." While some players have indicated that some of their games that appear in the monthly Plus titles do not have the "PS Plus Exclusive" label, some others do.
This subject began to arouse the curiosity of many players, who began to develop hypotheses and theories about the fact that this signal was present in some games.
So what does the PS Plus Exclusive tag mean on some games?
Players have had varying theories about why this sign is appearing on some PlayStation Store games. Some believe it could be a sign that these games aren't available on another monthly service like Xbox Game Pass. Others believe it's a sign that a special version of the game is only available to subscribers of the monthly service.
Perhaps the last theory is the most convincing, especially since it's not common for PlayStation Plus subscribers to get special copies of some games.
