After a long wait, developer CD PROJEKT RED has finally announced the release date for the next-gen update for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, which will be available to everyone starting December 14th.

Learn more about this new update that we've been waiting for years for, as it will be a free update for everyone who owns the next-gen version of the game on PlayStation, Xbox Series devices, and PC as well.

The next-gen version will be called The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – Complete Edition. It will feature a host of new features, visual improvements, increased performance, and new technologies over the original release. These include ray tracing support, faster loading times on consoles thanks to faster SSDs, and a variety of other tweaks.

The next-gen edition of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt will be available for digital purchase on PlayStation, Xbox Series X, and PC, and will feature all free DLC released to date, including the premium main expansions Hearts of Stone and Blood & Wine.

The physical “physical” version of the game will be released after the digital version is released in digital stores. It will be released at a later date. We also note that the developer will bring additional content related to the Witcher world related to the Netflix network. More details will be announced soon.
