Trailers for big games are always something to behold when viewed in foreign versions, but yesterday we unexpectedly got a special trailer for God of War Ragnarok that features the brightest stars from the region. Leading the announcement as the character of Kratos are the talented actors “Mohamed Heneidy”, “Sirin Abdel Nour” and “Saad Ramadan”.
The airing of this ad, close to the month of Ramadan, is something very special, and spreads the spirit of Ramadan advertisements present in most Arab homes. The description of the promotional ad shows us how parents deal with their children today and how both parties can deal with each other, but in a comical and sarcastic way.
The description shows us some of the phrases that this show relates to the relationship that exists between Kratos and his son Atreus, because fatherhood is not a part-time job or something similar, but a permanent and continuous job. And also with these phrases from the fathers, it seems that the ad is linked in one way or another to the next Mother's Day, on March 21st. The dynamics of the relationships in the ad tell us this with special phrases in the description.
These families can't wait another minute to embrace a completely new way of raising their children… at least the parents.
In other news, Sony recently revealed God of War Ragnarok as the favorite game among PS5 fans so far, according to a poll of fans and players. Despite not winning the Game of the Year 2022 award at the Game Awards, “God of War Ragnarok” is certainly a great achievement for developer Santa Monica Studio, defying the expectations of some who considered it to be additional content or an additional expansion to the 2018 game.
