Since the announcement of Armored Core VI, which we saw for the first time a few days ago on stage at The Game Awards 2022, the head of FromSoftware decided to clarify during an interview on IGN what the main architecture of the title will be.

Ever since the first trailer for Armored Core VI, a large portion of FromSoftware's players and fans were convinced that it was a Souls title like the rest of the studio's games. Contrary to what players expected, it seems that things will be different in this game. Hidetaka Miyazaki confirmed in an interview with IGN that Armored Core 6 has nothing to do with Dark Souls and Bloodborne.

Miyazaki added alongside his statement that the title was designed to return to the origins of the series and, in Miyazaki's words, Armored Core 6 will take all the elements we found in the older chapters, but will bring them back with a series of improvements.

Armored Core 6: Fires of Rubicon is expected to release in 2023, though we don't know anything about when exactly it will be released. The game, like Elden Ring, will be available on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC via Steam, PS5, and PS4.

We expect the price to be $ 60, as all of FromSoftware's recent games have been priced at that price, although nothing official about the price has been announced or confirmed as of yet.
