Microsoft is ready to please Sony by launching Call of Duty on PS Plus from day one

The largest acquisition in the industry that Microsoft is trying to complete is still in the phase of intense investigations, and the main reason for this is the presence of Sony as a major obstacle before Microsoft for being the first opponent of this deal, which, according to their expectations, will make them lose the Call of Duty title.

It looks like Microsoft is gearing up for something unexpected in the coming period. The company has already confirmed that it has offered Sony a very good deal on Call of Duty. Given that it could be included in the PlayStation Plus service from day one in the future, this is part of its attempt to allay regulators' concerns about its acquisition of Activision Blizzard.

This offer is considered one of the most tempting offers for any company, not just Sony, but its approval does not guarantee the existence of the series forever, and this is indicated by the 10-year contract, and we do not know what will happen after the expiration of the period. Sony said in response to the offer to release it for free on the service that this depends on licensing costs, which will force it to increase prices.

If the deal with Activision Blizzard is approved by regulators, Microsoft would also be looking to put games in the series on Game Pass on the day they launch. This would apparently give Sony the power to do the same for PlayStation Plus for the next decade if it accepts Microsoft's offer. The case is still ongoing and we don't expect it to be officially resolved for at least a few months.
