The wait for the Starfield title is long and arduous, and we still have enough time to hear new information about it. Things got more complicated when the silence about the game was long, especially regarding the release date. But fortunately that will change soon.

Later this month, Bethesda and Microsoft will be hosting a Developer Direct event to showcase new information about upcoming Xbox titles. Unfortunately, Starfield won't be part of the lineup for this event.

But Microsoft soon confirmed that there was another event dedicated to the game in the works, so that all fans of the title could see their game in the best possible light during this show.

We don't know exactly how long this event will last and how long it will take, but with Starfield launching in the first half of 2023, we can expect it won't be too long before we start getting more concrete details about the game.

Starfield has twice the development team of Fallout 76, and from what we've seen, it's set to be one of the most epic games of this generation. Fans have seen enough teasers and screenshots, and now we're all waiting for an exact official date, but at least we know a release schedule that's in the first half of 2023.

Starfield is in development for Xbox Series X/S and PC.
