Japanese developer Konami was pleased to announce several titles in the Silent Hill series, one of which was the release of Silent Hill Townfall during the Silent Hill Transmission event.

In the game's trailer, a Reddit user managed to find a mysterious hidden message within the video by decoding the ad's audio clip in mp3 format and opening its spectrum chart, where a hidden phrase appeared and was translated as "Whatever the heart of this city is, it has now stopped."
