The highly anticipated game Lies of P has received a new gameplay analysis that shows more about our young hero’s abilities and the dangers he will face. The game introduces us to the soul genre with a classic character mixed with action and emotion in a new way.
The new show comes as part of IGN First's coverage, in which we noticed that Lies of P's hero, Pinocchio, can use his hand to gain certain abilities. For example, in one stage he'll be able to use flames to fight enemies, and in other tasks he'll be able to use electric shock and more.
Additionally, there are various tasks in the game, including finding some collectibles and others that require you to perform what is known as QTE, or tasks that require speed to be mastered, such as escaping from enemies and chasing them and others.
Lies Of P tells a story set in motion by Pinocchio. Players take on the role of Pinocchio and must navigate a dark Belle Epoque world where all manner of fear lurks around every corner. The once beautiful town of Balls has become a living hell, and Pinocchio must find Mr. Geppetto to unravel the mystery of what happened in the town.
Players will also need to navigate the streets as Pinocchio encounters demon-like enemies. To help, there are systems available such as crafting weapons and items. However, the lying feature is applied where the more you lie, the more human you become, with all the advantages and disadvantages of the game and its citation of the source.
Additionally, the game will require 60 hours to complete 100% and 30 hours to finish the story. It will also be available for all home platforms and PC.
