Through his podcast Brain Structure Hideo Kojima On Spotify recently, he spoke for the first time about the mysterious horror game Abandoned and theories that speak about its connection to this game.
Through the podcast (via VGC) mentioned, which he collected in the new episode with Geoff KellyKojima said that followers keep sending him photos of this person named “Hassan,” while also sending him many fake photos.
Users keep sending me pictures of this person named “Hassan”. They still send me collages and deeply fake pictures, the last one of which was twenty days ago, it’s very annoying.
It is reported that the game Abandoned, since its first release last year, has not received any details except for this short video that reinforced the hypothesis that it is related to the canceled Kojima PT game
The game was supposed to get a Prologue demo that would explain the game's mechanics on PlayStation 5, and Hassan, head of developer studio Blue Box, promised it would be released as early as this year, but we didn't get it until today.
Despite Kojima's repeated denials about his association with this game and the Blue Box studio, this has not stopped a community from forming on Reddit that believes in Kojima's connection to this mysterious game and is trying to find theories to prove it. This community page has seen a lot of interaction, so it now includes over 9 thousand people.
What made the community believe these theories is that Kojima pulled the same trick before the Metal Gear Solid 5 game was revealed. He first appeared to us through a studio called Moby Dick and a video of The Phantom Pain was released, and it left the community in a state of confusion and confusion before it was released. It turns out that this studio is fake and does not exist and that the game shown in the video was Metal Gear Solid 5.
Through the same podcast episode, Kojima added:
I've never spoken to Hassan, the game isn't out yet. I don't think there's much he can do or say at this point. But if he does release the game, people might understand that, so maybe he should hurry up.
The fate of the Abandoned game is still mysterious and unknown, although Sony has a direct cooperation to promote this game by launching its own application on PlayStation 5, which leaves us really confused about this and the secret of Sony's trust in a studio like Blue Box.
