The Google Stadia cancellation is starting to cast a shadow over gamers. One player lost $1 million in Red Dead Online currency due to the platform's demise.

Last month, Google announced its intention to shut down its Google Stadia platform early next year. This news came as a shock to many gamers and game developers, some of whom were preparing to launch their projects on the platform. The most affected players are Red Dead Online owners, who will lose both their progress and their money.

Previously, one of the platform's players contacted Rockstar to transfer their game progress from Stadia to another platform. Since the player had spent over 6,000 hours playing the game, and with the platform closed, their efforts would have been in vain.

Another player is in the same situation, but the company refuses to transfer his progress, as he has spent 3,500 hours playing and earned nearly a million dollars in in-game currency. Rockstar says a player can transfer their progress from one platform to another if they have played within 30 days of the announcement of its closure.

This is a new and unfair condition added to the game's save file transfer conditions, and the player complained about Rockstar's negative response through his account on TwitterThis is considered unfair to players who had nothing to do with the decision to close the platform or others. The player will lose approximately one million dollars in in-game currency, 1,300 kilograms of gold, and their rating will drop to 662. As you can see in the photos above.
