The recent Nintendo Direct aired without any new details about Hollow Knight: Silksong. The title was last seen at the Xbox and Bethesda Games Showcase event in June 2022 and was confirmed for a June 2023 release.

The lack of news since then is somewhat concerning, especially for fans who have been waiting for almost four years. Fortunately, one of our game testers, Graig, uploaded something for the game to his Discord server after a recent Nintendo Direct broadcast. He was spotted by the Daily Silksong News Twitter page.

I feel for all of you, I really want to release this game as soon as possible and all the game testers are working hard to get it to you and of course to the whole Team Cherry too. It will come.. It's a great game and worth the wait, love you all.

Earlier this month, the game finally got a page on the Switch eShop, but the page is mostly empty and lacks any tangible or even new details. At E3 last year, it was confirmed that the game will be released before June 2023. We can't confirm anything about the release date because the game is still a volatile release that we expect to be delayed, but hopefully not.

Hollow Knight Silksong is one of the most anticipated indie games for PC and Nintendo Switch. The first installment was released in 2017 on PC after receiving donations, and quickly gained widespread acclaim from players and critics, becoming one of the most popular and anticipated games. The game is coming to Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5, and PC.
