Fortnite rewards players with 500 free V-Bucks, here's how to get them

Fortnite is set to reward some players with 500 V-Bucks in conjunction with the launch of the Reboot Rally event, which will launch this season.
This event will reward players with double XP as well as some cosmetic features by playing with people who haven't logged into the game in a long time.
Among the rewards that players will also receive is the Snikt! Snick! emote that will be obtained by each player who collects the required number of points.

This content is now available for free as part of the Reboot Rally event rewards which include 5 items. All you need to do to get it is start applying the conditions outlined.
Points are earned by collecting XP points with an eligible friend. For returning players, this means playing with an active player and vice versa. The observed points averages will be 80k, 160k, 250k, 300k, and 400k throughout the month. Players who collect the first 250 points will be able to claim Reboot Rally event rewards that include 5 items including the Snikt! Snick! emote directly.
