Journalist Jason Schreyer writes that a new Deus Ex game is in development at Eidos Montreal studio. In addition to a collaboration between him and Playground studio to work on the Fable game.

Embracer Group, which owns Eidos Montreal, recently announced the closure of its other studio, Onoma. As part of the announcement, the company revealed that the studio is currently working on a new Deus Ex game project and is collaborating with Microsoft to develop exclusives.

Journalist Schreyer recently reported on the company’s deal, saying it was part of a larger cost-cutting initiative and along with the closure of Onoma. Embracer Group also canceled an undisclosed “Kids on a Bike” title inspired by Stranger Things.

On the other hand, the new God game is still in the early stages of development as confirmed Schreyer said the development team is focused on collaborating with Microsoft to launch a set of exclusive projects on the Xbox platform.

Ultimately, Embracer Group has made a number of interesting adjustments this year. It has bought and sold studios that are well-known to gamers. Now, the company has at least three projects in development, including a new title.
