During the recent period, we have witnessed many rumors and analyses about the existence of the Nintendo Switch 2 platform, which confirmed its official launch during this year, and with the imminent announcement of the platform according to the leaks, many have wondered about the shape of the new generation and what it will be like in this particular aspect.

In a new report published by Bloomberg, analysts stated that the Switch 2 will not be as successful as the Nintendo Switch 2 in 2017, and will never reach the sales that the current platform has already achieved, and in their profit estimates, the next generation will be a rest for Nintendo.

According to the report, this could change if the new device has a new concept and idea than the current Switch platform, with its portable and home modes. These expectations are largely logical, given that the market is currently saturated with portable consoles, but Nintendo consoles remain the best-selling consoles due to their exclusives.

"In our five-year earnings estimates, we don't see earnings from the next-generation hardware cycle exceeding earnings from the Nintendo Switch cycle. This could change if the devices become new concept devices rather than the Nintendo Switch."

Several sources said last year that the developer kit for the next Nintendo device was in the hands of developers close to Nintendo. Additionally, after the last Game Awards event, several sources said the event would showcase some Nintendo titles shared between the current and next-generation devices, but the company has neither commented nor denied this report.
