Final Fantasy 16 is overheating on PS5 for unknown reasons

Final Fantasy 16 is one of the most anticipated games of the year, and with all the developer's confidence, some of the game's boss battles are said to be causing the PS5's hardware to overheat.

Some people who have early access to Final Fantasy 16 and played the recently released beta have said that the game overheats their PS5 during some boss battles.

TheSphereHunter claimed on Twitter that she was playing a certain unreleased PS5 game, where a boss fight caused her rig to overheat so much that it froze during combat. The member mentioned that she was fighting the Morbol boss when her PS5 displayed a message saying that the rig should be turned off for cooling.

Whether it's a common issue among players of the game or the beta, it's always a good idea to keep your console, fan, and heatsink vents free from dust that can build up over time, but during our review of Final Fantasy we were bothered by this issue and had a hard time overcoming it.

We mentioned that the game will receive a day one update, which should be a small one to fix some technical issues in the game. This update may provide a solution to the PS5 overheating issue during some boss encounters. Therefore, we recommend that if you want to buy the game, download and install the day one update before launching it, while we recommend that the device is in a suitable location to provide dynamic air around it to maintain a constant temperature.

Physical versions of Final Fantasy 16 have started arriving to some players a week before its release date. While some of them have started sharing photos and even details of the game on social media platforms.

Perhaps one of the worst things about physical copies of games is that they are shipped to distributors long before the release date, as shipping overseas takes a long time. But this, in turn, can often result in these copies reaching users' hands sooner.

We recently learned that Final Fantasy XVI pre-orders have seen a huge boom following the beta launch, and by the way, FF16 will be released on June 22 on PS5, while our review will be available at 5pm today here on the website. What are your impressions of it so far?
