If you've been watching the internet lately, you've probably noticed that the Grand Theft Auto VI community has been waiting for Rockstar to announce the game during these past few days in October. Unfortunately, that hasn't happened yet, which has left them feeling very disappointed.
There are many reasons that have led the community to believe that Rockstar would reveal the game at this time, the first of which is that the first game in the series was released on October 21, 1997, which could lead to Rockstar revealing the new game on its anniversary. It is also Rockstar's regular habit to reveal its new games in October and early November, just before its usual annual investor meeting. While many influencers on social media have shared their expectations that Rockstar will reveal the game during this time.
Despite this disappointment, the community is still holding out hope that Grand Theft Auto VI will be revealed later this year, especially since Vice City's anniversary is still coming up on October 29. Adding to the likelihood of this is the hint from Sony's latest Tik Tok account, which you can find details about here , while we've learned through recent major leaks that the new game will take place in the same city.
Additionally, the investor session that will bring them together with Take Two, scheduled for November 7, increases the chance of revealing the game before that date.
I'll add that several GTA 6 fan accounts are upset with Rockstar, saying they "let us down"... uhhh, they never promised anything. I think people really need to learn to manage expectations when speculating, and also fan accounts need to stop reporting things like this as fact.

While there is confusion in the meantime among the gaming community, there are those who are still hopeful that Rockstar will reveal the game before the end of this year, while others believe that 2022 could end without us having any announcement, especially after the recent leaks that happened with the game, which many believe. This will cause Rockstar to delay the announcement of Grand Theft Auto VI until it is ignored and forgotten by the community.
Do you think that in the meantime, Rockstar is already ready to reveal GTA VI, or has the gaming community's early curiosity led them to believe it?
