Fallout 76 has over 13 million players

Few games have a comeback story as great as Fallout 76, which launched in ruins four years ago but has gone from an ignominious state to a powerful turning point since the developer's interest began. That, of course, has been reflected in the numbers it has steadily added to its player base.

Bethesda has revealed that Fallout 76 has nearly 13.5 million players, which is a decent increase from 13 million at the beginning of October. Since the day the game launched, all players have cooperatively completed over 5 million expeditions and over 9.4 million daily quests.

2022 has obviously been a busy year for Fallout 76, as the game has received a fair number of major updates, and Bethesda has made it clear that it doesn't plan on dropping support for the game any time soon. It was also announced in June that Sperasoft had officially signed on as the support studio for Fallout 76's continued development.

With this good success that the game is witnessing, especially that it has met the publisher and developer's hopes of making it a full-scale service game, I find it hard to hear about any server closures or support interruptions, unless Bethesda wants to move on to a completely new part to become its new service game in the series and I think Bethesda has then memorized the lesson well.

The game is available on PS4 and Xbox One, as well as PC, and can be played on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S via pre-compatibility.
