I don't care when GTA 6 comes out.. but Rockstar has to overcome this problem with it

Amidst the talk about the GTA 6 release date, which is multiplying day by day, and the recent major leaks that have revealed many details about the upcoming game, there's at least one thing Rockstar needs to fix in the next game, and that's one of the worst things we've faced in the current game, GTA 5.
Although the GTA 5 game and its online mode have been re-released on new-gen platforms with slightly better quality, the long loading screen issue is still one of the existing problems, which is a big inconvenience for many of us.
Rockstar attempted to address the issue by making the GTA Online login separate from the GTA 5 game, allowing players to log in directly to the main interface. However, this wasn't a complete solution to the problem, which persists to this day. On the contrary, this step may have increased the time it took to log in online compared to the first method.
One player shared a video on Reddit showing the length of the loading screen when directly entering the game compared to the length of the loading screen when entering story mode. The result is as you can see in the video below.

For those who don't know, initially you were supposed to enter multiplayer mode by first entering story mode in GTA 5, and then entering online mode.
This problem should be avoided in GTA 6 at all costs.
It may be too late for Rockstar to fix this problem in GTA 5. But it has to put a radical and fundamental solution in the next part of the series, which it has been developing for several years, to be released sometime in the next few years.
Rockstar, according to some informed sources, will skip the launch of GTA 6 on previous-generation platforms. The game's development will focus on exploiting the capabilities of the new platforms, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series, which feature fast loading times thanks to numerous technologies implemented within them, the most prominent being the use of highly modifiable high-speed SSDs.
This means there shouldn't be any loading screens or waiting for the next Rockstar game. While these loading screens are designed to load the entire world before the player enters the game, with fast platforms like next-gen devices, these screens shouldn't take too long.
Rockstar relies on the RAGE engine to develop its games, which receives continuous updates and improvements with each new game project. This means the engine received significant improvements before Rockstar began work on GTA 6.

While Rockstar tries to learn from the issues it encounters in its previous projects, some issues may not be easy to overcome. The GTA 5 loading screen issue may be caused by the game's large amount of detail, which can take a long time to download all at once. And with modest hardware like high-end devices, this issue cannot be avoided.
And with the launch of a new generation of home appliances, Rockstar will take the quality of its games to another level, as confirmed by its parent company, T2, which thrilled the public and investors with its statements during the quarterly earnings call, where it hinted that the next Grand Theft Auto game will not be a leap forward. This will not only mark the history of the series but also have an impact on the video game industry as a whole.
This means we'll see significantly more detail than in previous games, as well as the use of high-quality visual effects and technology. This, of course, will require storage space and high data transfer speeds to prepare before the player enters to explore the world.
But the question remains, will Rockstar avoid the slow loading issue in its next game or will it focus on supporting the game world with details and effects that can take a lot of time for platforms to load?
This remains to be seen as a matter of course, depending on the capabilities of the RAGE engine and how well it exploits the capabilities of new platforms. However, these platforms have implemented high-speed input and output technologies previously unseen on personal computers, particularly the PlayStation 5, which has long been admired by developers due to its high data transfer speeds. And if the game engine is tuned to take advantage of these capabilities, Rockstar may be able to avoid players getting stuck on loading screens for extended periods, as is the case with GTA 5.

However, there may be another issue that contributes to long loading screens, especially when entering online mode, which is the servers and the matchmaking system that requires connection and synchronization with them before entering the game.
This means that Rockstar not only needs to improve its engine to take advantage of the speed of next-gen platforms, but it also needs to improve the quality and speed of its servers, which play a big role in extending download times.
Rockstar always listens to its fans, and with the long loading screen issue emerging as one of the most common technical issues GTA 5 and GTA Online fans have been complaining about, Rockstar may prioritize fixing this issue, either fully or partially, in GTA 6.
Unfortunately, Rockstar has not shared with us, as of this writing, any details about the next Grand Theft Auto, other than confirming that it is in development and arriving on schedule.
