During PlayStation's State of Play show today, and as has been teased since the show's reveal, we saw a new showcase of internal gameplay for Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, which has received many delays since its reveal during the summer of 2020.

The studio behind the Batman Arkham series features the heroes of the Suicide Squad, based on the popular DC film series. The game features a combat style that is obviously a bit fast-paced due to the pace it presents, and we felt at first glance that the game would appeal to all Arkham fans.

Metropolis will be enjoyed as the heroes once did, but from an evil, anti-justice perspective. The game will have a completely open world and the leaders in this world will be the Justice League itself, yes, I mean Batman, Flash, Superman and others. j

We can see in the fights the weapons of each character of the Suicide Squad, which generates more dynamism in the gameplay. For example, "Harley Quinn" has her own baseball bat, which comes with her extreme flexibility during the fight with the opponents, for "Dead Shot" will depend on a high percentage of hits from somewhat long distances with her jet plane and "Boomerang", who stands out for his excessive speed during the fight, with the use of his "boomerang" bat.

We will see the help of the characters Suicide Squad in the world of “Metropolis” as Penguin and the ghost girl who sweeps the city in a terrifying way, but is there to help and much more around the city. The arsenal of weapons will be more than machine guns, pistols and miniguns. The game has a thrilling storyline that puts all of the Justice League as villains for the first time, but of course the Wonder Women are the only ones who get it right in the Justice League.

4-player co-op confirmed. The game arrives on May 26, 2023 on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S, as well as PC. Tell us your expectations for the game in the comments section below, and will it make its world and popularity like the Arkham series did?
