The last few days have been busy for us at VGA4A after we received a special invitation from PlayStation Middle East and PlayStation Saudi Arabia to attend an event. Direct from PlayStation 5 recently held in Dubai.

During the event we got a private interview with Robert Visser Vice President of PlayStation for the Middle East, Africa, Türkiye and India. We took the opportunity to answer some questions about PlayStation and the plans that are being prepared for the region.

Q- We are here in the midst of a PlayStation 5 live event, where the device has become available like never before, right?

the answer The short and quick answer to this question is: Yes, that's why we are here at this big event, and I believe that now everyone can purchase the device at any time through the local market.

Q- We've been at a meeting with many surprises this year, the most recent of which was a week ago with the launch of the new DualSense Edge controller. What can we talk about?

I think it’s a great product because the DualSense Edge controller gives professional gamers in the Middle East the opportunity to professionally adjust the way they control according to their needs. We believe it’s designed to be very compatible with the needs of this class of society.

Q- What do you personally like most about the DualSense Edge controller?

People People who belong to the esports community have always wanted to tweak their console to match their style depending on the type of game they are playing. Where they can access their mods and progress in their game with ease and smoothness.

Q- Do you think the gaming community in the Middle East is ready for the new generation of PSVR 2 virtual reality headsets?

We are absolutely certain of that. We at PlayStation are working to bring players into a very exciting world and offer a completely new experience in virtual reality, and we think it will resonate well with the gaming community here.

Q- Will Arabic language be supported on the PSVR2 system and its games?

Yes, we have a good track record of supporting the Arabic language in our business as we know how important it is for the Arab community, and I want to let you know that the Horizon Call of the Mountain game for PSVR 2 will fully support the Arabic language.

Q- Will we see more third-party games on PSVR 2 headsets?

We've already revealed that there are 30 PSVR 2-based games that will be fully available when the system launches in a month's time. I think there are plenty of different titles that could suit everyone's tastes on this list.

Q- Can you share with us something about PlayStation for the Arab gaming community here in the Middle East?

We’re excited about this unprecedented level of interaction with the PlayStation brand and are excited about what we’ll be showcasing throughout the new year in 2023. But expect more announcements soon.
