At the 2022 Game Awards, Square Enix confirmed that Final Fantasy 16 will be released in June 2023. It's been a highly anticipated game and a lot of new information about the game has been revealed.
The company also revealed a list of English voice actors who will play several of the game's main characters via the PlayStation Blog. The protagonist, Clive Rosfield, will be played by actor Ben Starr, known for his work in Quantum Break. While Logan Hannan, who played Hugo in A Plague Tale, will play his younger brother, Joshua. Square Enix has previously confirmed that unlike most other titles in the series, Final Fantasy XVI prioritized capturing the characters' lip movements and lyrics in English to align with the voice acting during development. It was also confirmed that the game's English voiceover will feature unique British accents to create some identity for the language.
Final Fantasy 16 for PS5 will be released on June 22, 2023, not long until we see the first RPG in the series, baby.
