EA pulls Mirror's Edge from…

We learned through a post that appeared on EA's official blog published yesterday that the company has decided to remove some of its titles, including the game Mirror's Edge, from digital stores. However, hours after this announcement, the company has once again retracted its decision, at least with regard to this game.

EA indicated Even the appearance of the game Mirror's Edge on the list was by mistake and the game will continue to be available on digital stores in its first and second parts. Eventually, it will be limited to just Battlefield 1943 and Bad Company 1 and 2.

Mirror's Edge's appearance on the list, especially regarding its decision to close its servers this December, was indeed confusing, as the game's servers had already been shut down since last January of this year. While some online features like leaderboards have been abandoned, ghosts cannot be shown to other players for competitive purposes.

However, the single player mode is still fully functional without any issues, while the player can enter challenges via the time trial mode. Unfortunately, if any records are recorded, there will be no opportunity to elevate them to the leaderboard list.

On the other hand, it seems that we will not have any new roles in the Mirror's Edge series, as EA confirmed in the new statement that all possibilities will be focused on working on the future Battlefield series.
