EA files new patent based on player ingenuity…

EA has filed a first-of-its-kind patent to alter the game's control system based on a player's skill level.

This patent was previously filed two years ago, but has now been reinstated. Apparently, the company is thinking of investing the idea in its next games, the most important of which is EA Sports, an alternative to the game's name FIFA.

Overall, what is stated in the patent description is somewhat promising, as it states:

Several aspects of the technology in question relate to the systems, methods, and media that a machine can read to adjust controller settings. The method includes reception, via a user-associated console, and a program control input.

The company does not necessarily need to apply for this patent any time soon, as most of these readings are registered only for the purpose of preserving the idea and not transferring it to third parties.

In previous news, the company seems to have been active recently, as it has reached a long-term deal with Marvel to work on certain projects. The company has announced the Iron Man game, which is currently in development, and in the future we will see at least 3 projects, including those set in the Marvel universe.

The gaming community remains concerned about the company taking on these projects. But it has confirmed on more than one occasion that the reason for the cooperation with Marvel is due to the success of the Star Wars games it has previously released, so the company says not to worry.

In the end, we will wait for the next few months and the news they bring us for these projects, but what do you think of the new patent? Especially its job is to interact with the player.
