After years of development and many delays, Atomic Heart will finally be released next month. However, the journey will not stop at launch. There are approximately four additions where the game will expand and give us all the content that the game has never heard of. Studio founder and game director Robert Bagratani revealed in a new interview with WCCF Tech that it will be adding new monkey story content.
The director said that the additional content is his first and final goal to greatly expand the player experience with new areas, missions, puzzles, and enemies, as well as the stories of the characters and the world. The developer plans to significantly expand the open-world areas, as well as new labs.
With these additions, the director claims that the player will learn more about the world of Atomic Heart and will need to complete new challenges. “Robert Bagratoni” also confirmed that the entire experience will be single-player only and unfortunately, there are no plans included in the studio to add any co-op gameplay or anything similar. All four add-ons are included in the Gold Edition for $$ 89.99 or in the Premium Edition for $$ 99.99.
Atomic Heart will be released on February 21 for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One, and PC. The title will also be available on Game Pass on day one. The game impresses with its fast-paced gameplay and, by the way, is based on Unreal Engine 4, which demonstrates the excellent use of the engine's hardware by the studio.
