Spider-Man 2 was the most talked-about game among players on social media recently, and of course, the reason was the story's presentation, which raised more questions, including those related to Venom's character. In fact, Venom's objective was revealed in the next game.

Spider-Man 2 debuted at Comic-Con two days ago, as promised by its developer, Insomniac Games. A new trailer was revealed, showcasing Harry Osborn for the first time in the game and his new identity as the villain Venom.

In the films, we've always seen Venom trying to kill Peter Parker, or rather, Spider-Man. In the comics and magazines, events have varied and evolved between the two characters, ranging from hostility to cooperation and, sometimes, alliance. But what does Venom really intend to do in the next game, or what does he want?

Venom simply wants to kill Spider-Man, says Marvel Games president and creative director Rhino where he said:

"Venom doesn't want to rob banks and he doesn't want to take over the world. Venom wants to kill Spider-Man."

There are many reasons for the character to kill Spider-Man, including enmity, for example, between "Peter Parker" in the game and his close friend, Venom's character owner, "Harry Osborn." This is probably the strongest motive that could lead Venom and Harry to assume the intention of ending Spider-Man's life, specifically Peter Parker, who is "Miles Morales."

I guess we'll never know until the game launches on October 20th, exclusively on PlayStation 5. What are your expectations?
