The cooperative survival horror game Lethal Company has once again generated more buzz and interest from players. It is currently very popular and the number of simultaneous players is constantly increasing.
The game is still in Early Access on the PC version on the Steam store, and it is not known when it will be fully released, and there is no other version of the game on the PlayStation or Xbox consoles, as it is currently available on the PC. As we mentioned.
Is there a mobile version of Lethal Company?
Taking advantage of the great popularity of the game, many developers started issuing fake copies of the Lethal Company game on mobile, which are unofficial copies and the independent game developer Zeekerss has no relation to this, and the matter reached the point where there was no more than one copy available in the Google Play and Apple App Store stores.
Users were surprised in recent days when they discovered that the Lethal Company game was in the Android and Apple stores, thinking that the developer had provided a specific version for mobile devices, but it later became clear that the version was not official after investigating the app publisher in the digital stores.
But the issue is not limited to the fact that it is just a “fake” version of the game, but it turns out that there are many other fake versions, some of which try to collect information and data from your mobile phone, and some of them full of ads and malware that operate on the mobile phone's memory, not to mention the poor quality that… These copies have appeared, although one of them received a rating of 3.6 out of five stars, but the reviews may be fake, so it is recommended after downloading it.
The game's developer, via his Discord account, addressed the gaming community and said:
“The mobile version of Lethal Company was created without explicit permission and is likely some kind of scam, and we do not want more people to fall victim to any devious and malicious intentions.”
It is worth noting that the Google Play Store had the largest share of the various versions, as among them was a version released by a developer named AlexKos Dev, who had been active on the Google Play Store for only a month, and his fake version had already collected more than 600,000 downloads in a short period of time since the game's launch. It appears, but when you check the user's profile on the digital store, you find no trace of him or way of communicating.
Have you been one of those who have endured fake copies?
