Omdia expects Sony's upcoming PlayStation VR 2 to be a huge success next year. Global sales, two years after its launch, are expected to surpass 3.6 million units, despite its higher price tag compared to the previous version, released in 2017.
The company also stated that by 2023, gamers will be switching to virtual reality headsets, which will be the largest since the technology's launch. It also expects more than 12 million devices to be sold.
