Sales of the Gran Turismo series reach 95 million units worldwide.

Sony has announced that sales of the Gran Turismo series have reached 95 million units sold worldwide since the release of the first installments until the last one released earlier this year. Thus, with this achievement, the series has become Sony's best-selling title of all time.
The announcement of this new feature came to mark the twenty-fifth anniversary of the launch of the Gran Turismo series. This Sony series is famous for its precision in simulating vehicle games and its extreme realism, especially with its current sequel.
The first titles in the series were released in 1992 and since then it has become one of the company's best titles. This, of course, would give the development team the morale boost they needed to continue and give their best.
Developer Polyphony may be planning to port the sequel to PC. At least that's what series creator Kazunori Yamauchi mentioned in a previous post.
Considering the current pace that PlayStation is going at and its recent desire to bring its games to PC ports, gamers may not have to hold their breath for long about Gran Turismo, as this news comes from a GTPlanet interview with Yamauchi.
When asked about the many speculations that point to a PC version, the creator of the title. He then replied that fans of the series could have something to look forward to in the near future. The director also responded to a question about whether the game could come to the PC platform or not, and said: “Yes, I think so.”
Some of PlayStation's biggest and most popular exclusive series have made their way to PC in recent years. These titles include Horizon, God of War, Spider-Man, and most recently, Uncharted. Gamers have been waiting for Gran Turismo to arrive on the platform for at least several months now, alongside Ghost of Tsushima.
