Here's a look at what Dark Souls 3 could look like with Unreal Engine 5

Re-releasing Dark Souls 3 in an improved version may be the dream of many FromSoftware game lovers, especially after the impressive appearance of Demon's Souls, which was re-released on PlayStation 5.
Unfortunately, we're not here to break the news of the game's official re-release, but we do have a video from an amateur who managed to recreate some areas of the game using Epic's incredible Unreal Engine 5.
YouTuber Jonx0r ported the game to the Epic engine and improved some elements to make it look great. The developer moved Cemetary of Ash, Iudex Gundyr's Arena, and Firelink Shrine while using Lumen technology to improve the game's brightness.
Although the result is wonderful in large part, this amateur developer did not call it a remake, as he did not make many changes in terms of graphics and effects, as well as did not change the game system and the mechanism of interaction of the characters with the surrounding environment, etc.
If FromSoftware and Bandai Namco, which owns the title, want to re-release Dark Souls 3, the changes will be broad and drastic, but do you think there's hope for us to see a re-release of either series in the future?
From our point of view, and with the successes achieved by the re-released games, there may be a sign of hope that we will see Dark Souls 3, or any of the parts of the series, re-released in the future.
Until then, enjoy the video that shows scenes from some of the areas that have been improved using Unreal Engine 5 and share your thoughts in the comments section below.
