EA has yet to reveal an official release date for Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, but the game's Steam page did. Closer to the release date, the game's premium features have been revealed.
The Star Wars Jedi: Survivor Steam page has revealed its release date, along with the features of the Deluxe Edition. It turns out that the game's release date will be on March 16 (3), 2023.
The game's Deluxe Edition features will give players some cool costumes for Cal and his mini robotic assistant BD-1, as well as the following:
- Galactic Hero Pack: Includes a Scoundrel outfit for the character, a cosmetic outfit for the mech, and a DL-44 battle set.
- New Hero Pack: Includes costumes for the character, his sidekick, and a laser sword called Rebel Hero.
- Jedi Survival Pack: Fully adapted from Obi-Wan Kenobi. Includes a laser sword called Hermit, a character outfit and finally the Combustion battle set.
We don't yet know what Cal's abilities are this time around, but he has learned, grown, and matured in his latest adventure. The game will take place five years after the events of the previous installment, released in 2019. Cal seeks to survive and face enemies as the last known Jedi in the galaxy.
The game will be developed by EA's Respawn creative team, and the aforementioned installment is said to have begun development immediately after the previous installment. The company has confirmed that the game will be featured at the upcoming The Game Awards 2022 event to review it, which is what prompted the company to kick off its marketing campaign.
