Announcing the release date of the “World Cup” mode in FIFA 23, details…

EA has officially announced the release date for the World Cup mode in FIFA 23. In addition, a new demo has been released and a set of important information is attached that we will share below.

The first important information, the FIFA World Cup 23 update will be released completely free On the 9th of this month, on all home platforms except the Switch version. The mobile version of the game will receive the update the day before.

Secondly, players will be able to choose from around 32 qualified teams as they will experience the World Cup atmosphere from the start of the first match to the last match. Players will also be able to control the participating groups and teams and switch between them.

Above you can find the first official presentation of the next phase of the game. We mentioned that there will also be an online mode, where the player will choose a team and complete their journey in any world competing with the teams of other players.

There is also another mode called World Cup Live, which will be released on the 21st of this month until the middle of next month. This mode will be “structured” as it will be constantly updated throughout the group stage and knockout stages. This allows players to play with the original games and teams and replay previous matches to try and change the outcome.

The company has now confirmed that it will not be releasing a FUT World Cup mode, but there are several challenges related to it that will be released in the middle of this month and at the end of it as well.
