The long-awaited action-adventure RPG Rise of the Rōnin has officially launched and has received a mixed reception from several international websites. Some praise it highly, while others believe it is a modest experience, but the deciding factor and the final arbiter remains the player and their own guidelines.

Yesterday, we shared with you our comprehensive review of the game Rise of the Rōnin and went over the strengths and weaknesses that we highlighted. Among them was that the game has 3 graphics modes to choose from, which include performance, precision, and ray tracing. The problem here is this. The options provided by the developer are that you don't feel that the three modes have any clear differences, except that the resolution mode makes the game run at a fixed 30 frames.

Our own experience after hours of gameplay clearly shows that the three graphics modes do not present significant differences. Performance mode presented dynamic resolution from 1080p pixels to 1044p pixels with an average of 60 frames per second, which was also covered by the ElAnalistaDeBits channel, as you can see below.

While the quality mode, which was also dynamic, increased the screen resolution from 1440p to 1260p, with small improvements in settings like shadows and filters, and stable performance most of the time at 30 frames per second, although there were no obvious changes in Ray-Tracing, except for some improvements in global illumination and 30fps performance.

It is worth mentioning that VRR technology is available, but it does not advance more than 60 frames per second, and the quality or resolution and Ray-Tracing modes also suffer interruptions at times, which shows that Team Ninja's improvements are not perfect.

Therefore, it is important for us to recommend to our followers and those who want to have an optimal experience without hesitation, to choose the “Performance mode” for an optimal and trouble-free experience during fast-paced battles, and it is, in short, the best option for most players.
