The Gamers Season, the second edition, returns to you with prizes equivalent to twice the prizes of the first season

The Saudi Electronic Sports Federation, the organizer and responsible for developing the gaming and esports community and sector in the Kingdom and sponsoring elite Saudi esports players, has announced the date for the second edition of Gamers Season – the world’s largest esports and gaming event – which will be hosted by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for 8 months. Weeks starting on July 6 in Riyadh.
And after the tremendous success achieved by the first edition last year, which saw the presence of around 1.4 million visitors and around 132 million people around the world watching professional e-sports competitions, the federation announced that the second edition will be bigger, larger and more diverse, whether in the number of e-sports tournaments or concerts. The federation also confirmed that the prize pool will be the largest in the world in the field of esports, as the prizes will exceed US$$ 30 million (about 112 million Saudi riyals), which is almost double the total prize pool of last season.
The second season will be calledPlayer Season: Land of ChampionsThis is to indicate the competition of global and local e-sports champions to rise to the top of this grand event, and that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is the destination for global gaming and e-sports, the hub for champions of these sports and the global starting point for them.
The first season saw 113 international professional teams participate in multiple tournaments across the world’s most popular video games, including Rocket League, Dota 2, Fortnite, PUBG Mobile and Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege, with prizes worth US$15 million awarded to the winning teams. The new season will see many new games added to the tournaments.
The season’s activities also vary to include concerts by prominent Arab and international artists over 8 weeks, as well as entertainment, educational and community activities suitable for all members of society and different age groups.
